Community manager. What does that entail?
In this profile, the community manager will have a more coordinating role with management responsibilities. Initially, you will receive strong guidance to help you grow into the role.
- You create content and promote it in the community.
- You will be seen as a moderator within Nurturegoods on the website and on our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.
- You are broadly involved in the topics of discussion and responsible within the organization, mainly on social media.
What are you doing?
- Creating posts, feeds, and coordinating content and comments.
- Analyzing new concepts and positioning to reach the target group.
- Advisory role within the community.
- Coordinating blog posts, live chats, news, advice, and discussions around topics to actively engage the community.
- Create moderation plans including a content calendar.
In short, a Community Manager is responsible for shaping the atmosphere and culture within the community. You create, manage, and moderate the community and determine what's needed to achieve this.
Required skills:
- Good communication skills in language and writing (Dutch is a plus)
– Affinity with social media
– Eager to learn
- Flexible attitude
– Affinity with, or empathy for, our target group (Young parents with newborn babies)
You'll be working in a small, close-knit team, mentored by one of our permanent colleagues. Remote work is certainly possible.
